Antique your way through our villages and along our country back roads where treasures can always be found for dealers and collectors alike. A spectacular antique fair of 1000 dealers occurs in near-by Madison County which rivals Brimfield's Antique Show. Centrally located, it is an easy 45 minute drive to Cooperstown's Otsego Lake, Baseball Hall of Fame, Glimmerglass Opera, and Its well known museums. Oneonta (20 minutes) offers its National Soccer Hall of Fame, Minor League Baseball at Nehawa Park and its many choices of shops and eateries. Many art and music events are held at The West Kortright Centre and the Orpheus Theater. During the months of July and August experience our old fashioned county fairs and the New York State Fair in Syracuse (1.5 hours away) Experience nature walks, hiking, biking, canoeing, cross country skiing, swimming and fishing in and around our many lakes and rivers or enjoy our many area golf courses while staying at our lovely cottage in the woods. The end of the summer does not conclude the attractions this region offers. Famous for its display of foliage in October, the cottage offers the opportunity to experience the glory of fall.
